Today concludes our 3-week series about Ezra and Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a man of patience, and it is one of the reasons he is regarded as one of the greatest God-centered leaders of the Old Testament. Despite strong and persistent opposition from his foes Sanballat and Tobiah, who tried to impede the rebuilding of the city wall at Jerusalem, Nehemiah was not deterred from his goal.
