Young Adult Group Series: Echo the Story

The young adults will meet at the Parnells’ February 19th at 6 PM to continue with the series, Echo the Story. We’ll share dinner and fellowship at 6 PM, and then enjoy hearing the Word of God at 7 PM. Also, mark you calendar – March 17th we will go as a group to participate in a service project at Max Ranch. More details to come!

Opportunity Camp Training Meeting

Our first of four MANDATORY staff training meetings will be on February 19th (the others are March 18th, April 15th and May 20th). We’ll meet at the church building at 3:30 PM, head up to Walnut Creek Church of Christ for the meeting (4:30-6 PM), and return to Tri-Valley at 7:00 PM. Let Jacob know if you will be going so we can make sure to have enough rides and training material.

Reach IN: Video Scavenger Hunt

Our next Reach IN event is a video scavenger hunt! It takes place Saturday, March 10th, from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Cost to participate is $5. We’ll be running all over Livermore in groups trying to capture specific things on film like a human pyramid, a random act of kindness, a slow-motion race, and a live cow! Bring a friend!

High School Reach UP

Get ready for our next Reach UP event: “Beyond the Music” at the Celebration Christian Center. High school students get ready for a night of worship with other Livermore Christians! We’ll meet at the building at 5:30 PM, Friday, February 24th and head over to Celebration together. There will be worship, a message, and raffle prizes. We will return to the church and be done around 9 PM.

Thank You to our Youth Group adult volunteers

Thank you to all our adult volunteers who consistently support the Tri-Valley Youth Ministry and invest themselves in the lives of our students. Last night we honored over 20 of these adults who volunteer with things like:

  • leading small group discussions on Thursdays and Sundays
  • traveling with teens to/from events
  • building relationships with students
  • serving on the Parent Action Committee
  • much, much more

Thank you for caring for our teens. What you do is a tremendous blessing to the youth ministry and extremely valuable for students’ spiritual development. Anyone who would like to discover ways they can become involved in the youth ministry, please get in touch with Jacob or Lisa. We can never have too many mature, Christian adults on hand to positively influence our youth!
