Teens
Our youth ministry program provides more than just classes — it offers a comprehensive program for developing young lives for Christ. The program includes Sunday morning classes, mission projects, local service projects, midweek ConneXion Points, special activities, area-wide events, ministry training opportunities, and much more.
Our Philosophy
Effective youth ministry needs to be:
- Incarnational — focused on building relationships and modeling the Christian life. We don’t want to just talk about faith, we want to live it!
- Transformational — providing opportunities to grow in Christ and be shaped into His image.
- Intentional — everything we do is for a purpose.
Reach Events
Throughout the year, about once a month, we will have a different REACH event designed to provide opportunities for teens to stretch and grow in these 3 areas of their Christian lives:
- Reach UP — Experiential worship events focused on building a deeper relationship with God.
- Reach IN — Relationship building events focused on growing the youth group together as a family in the body of Christ.
- Reach OUT — Outreach events focused on serving others in the Love of Christ.

Come dig into these ancient songs and find out how they remain relevant even today. This class meets in the Youth Room located in the Family Life Center April 1 – May 20th.
Thursday Night ConneXion Point
Thursday ConneXion Point (CxP) – 7pm in the Youth Room
For high school and middle school students
“Guys and Girls”
On Thursday nights, beginning March 8th, we will have a separate guys and girls class to discuss teen issues. The gender split will allow for both smaller, more intimate classes and discussion of gender-specific themes from a Christian perspective. The topics will include identity, body image, emotions, relationships, sex, and faith. Guys will meet in the Youth Room and girls will meet in the Middle School Room, both located in the Family Life Center March 8 – June 14th.
