Teens
Our youth ministry program provides more than just classes — it offers a comprehensive program for developing young lives for Christ. The program includes Sunday morning classes, mission projects, local service projects, midweek ConneXion Points, special activities, area-wide events, ministry training opportunities, and much more.
Our Philosophy
Effective youth ministry needs to be:
- Incarnational — focused on building relationships and modeling the Christian life. We don’t want to just talk about faith, we want to live it!
- Transformational — providing opportunities to grow in Christ and be shaped into His image.
- Intentional — everything we do is for a purpose.
Reach Events
Throughout the year, about once a month, we will have a different REACH event designed to provide opportunities for teens to stretch and grow in these 3 areas of their Christian lives:
- Reach UP — Experiential worship events focused on building a deeper relationship with God.
- Reach IN — Relationship building events focused on growing the youth group together as a family in the body of Christ.
- Reach OUT — Outreach events focused on serving others in the Love of Christ.

The Life And Ministry of Jesus
As Jesus-followers, we have to know who Jesus is in order to follow him. If you want to model your life after someone, you’ve got to know a thing or two about that person! So during January and February, we will look to the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) to find out who Jesus was, what he did, what he stood for so that we can more accurately try to live our lives like him and for him.
